Fans of Kanye West’s phenomenally successful Yeezy collaboration with adidas are in for a treat tomorrow as the latest addition launches in stores.

The collection, which was showcased during New York Fashion Week in February and includes knitwear and oversized sweaters, looks set to win the hip hop star turned designer new fans among relaxed, style-conscious dressers.

Heavy bomber jackets, military parkas and shearling jackets are also certain to stand out.

West, who suggests that this latest addition to his repertoire is also the world’s first "solutions-based" clothing line, designed the collection to adhere to a style that matches the fast pace of contemporary lives. "I don’t want the clothes to be the life, I want the clothes to help the life."

In a statement about the release, adidas said: "West’s goal is to absolve consumers of dressing’s daily stress by creating a line of high-quality essentials that can be freely combined in infinite ways", which West describes as "like Lego".

Focusing on a contrasting silhouette of volume on top and a tighter frame below, the collection's neutral colour palette of olive, camel and chocolate brown is injected with occasional bursts of cranberry.

While West may be a figure of controversy where the fashion industry is concerned, the phenomenal success of his adidas sportswear line is undisputed.

So much so in fact, that last week Footwear News declared the Yeezy – a sell-out sneaker designed by the hip hop star turned designer - as its shoe of the year.

"The sneaker releases dominated the market in 2015 as demand for the product crashed servers, sparked extraordinary resale value and created a need for mob control in stores” said a representative for the trade publication in an announcement, “this recognises the insatiable demand for all things Yeezy."

Ranging from $130 to $4550, the collection hits adidas stores globally from Thursday, October 29
