He is - as of yesterday - the most successful British Formula 1 driver having won his fourth world title in Mexico, but Lewis Hamilton's interest in the world of fashion has an altogether less predictable nature.

A regular on the front row during fashion week, Hamilton has frequently shown his support for the likes of Balmain, Dior, Tommy Hilfiger and Prada.

Not satisfied by just attending shows, however, the 32-year-old also has a keen interest in experimenting with his own wardrobe.

Known for his sartorial phases, Hamilton favoured a fairly mainstream smart suit or camo scarf in 2014, before opting for a leather jacket and biker boot vibe a year later.

Finding a fondness for sneakers in 2016, the sportsman showcased a number of different high tops before finding his own authentic style earlier this year.

Currently a fan of all things colourful, glitzy bomber jackets, zesty orange chinos and plaid shorts are all considered wardrobe staples for Hamilton.

But while his style is popular amongst his fans, it has - on one occasion in particular - landed him in hot water.

Turned away from Centre Court's Royal Box at Wimbledon in 2015, the driver's lack of jacket and tie saw him barred from the box and watching the final from a hospitality area.
