While their close friendship had always been obvious after even the briefest scroll through their individual Instagrams, Miley Cyrus and Stella Maxwell appear to have stepped things up onto a more romantic level as they were pictured kissing this week during Miley's break from filming her new music video in Hollywood.
With this revelation projecting Maxwell further into the world of celebrity and, consequently, more intensely under the watchful eye of paparazzi photographers, we're expecting to see an awful lot more of this 24-year-old model in the next few weeks. But who IS Stella Maxwell?

Stella was born in Belgium to Northern Irish parents Stella Maynes and Maurice Maxwell, the latter of whom worked as a diplomat. She was raised in Belgium until she was 13, when her family relocated to Canberra in Australia and then on to Wellington in New Zealand.
While attending Otago University in New Zealand, the blonde beauty was scouted and went on to begin her modelling career
Career
After landing campaigns for the likes of Alexander McQueen, H&M, River Island, ASOS and Urban Outfitters, as well as featuring in Vogue and ELLE editorials, Maxwell was announced in April this year as being among 9 others Victoria's Secret models to be awarded the title of 'Angel' - the only Brit within the group.
The world-famous lingerie brand revealed that as well as travelling, the model's biggest hobbies are racket sports and hiking. We hope Miley's been practicing.
