After very stylish stints in New York and London, influencers, models and fashion industry professionals headed to Milan for the next instalment of shows.

With the schedule boasting Gucci, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and Gigi Hadid's last collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger it was set to bring out the best street style stars - and it did not disappoint.

The Italian city was filled with serious style inspiration, and here are the top three trends:

1. Totally Twinning

Milan street style proved that two really are better than one as everyone from stylish sisters to fashion friends coordinated their looks.

From bloggers Eleonora Carisi and Caroline Daur opting for minimal looks at Max Mara to music duo Amiaya putting on an eye-catching display in coordinating rainbow ensembles.

2. Fendi was out in force

The logomania trend was everywhere you looked as designers continue to bring back their retro 90s logos.

No more so than Fendi, who had an entire VIP crowd dressed head-to-toe in their signature brown designs.

Anna Dello Russo looked effortlessly chic in a tailored trench. Meanwhile, Sita Abellan went for a more head-turning look.

3. New Hues

Street style stars also weren't afraid to experiment with new hues.

Lavender proved to be a popular shade, which will most definitely be a perfect addition to our spring wardrobe.

Meanwhile, others managed to pull off statement suits in more unusual hues of neon green and mustard yellow.
