Priyanka Chopra’s wedding dress has been revealed – and it is a showstopper.

The actress tied the knot with musician Nick Jonas over the weekend with an extravagant three-day soiree in Rajasthan.

The couple married in a series of ceremonies that celebrated both of their cultures and religions, which started with a tradition Indian celebration before a Christian service, officiated by Jonas’s father.

Whilst Priyanka gave us a little insight into her wedding on Instagram over the past few days, there was one thing still left to be uncovered: her wedding dress.

Not only did the 36-year-old actress stun in numerous traditional saris over the weekend, but she had previously revealed that she was also going to wear a traditional white wedding dress, which had been designed by Ralph Lauren.

Hello! has exclusively revealed a first look at the dress which was an ethereal tulle number featuring intricate lace, mother of pearl, Swarovski crystals and embroidery of eight significant words and phrases chosen personally by Priyanka, which included 'family', 'hope' and 'compassion'. The dress took a total of 1,826 hours to make.

"The bride's strapless column dress embellished with pearlescent sequins was overlaid with a hand-embroidered, high-neck coat with scalloped sleeves and satin-covered buttons," Ralph Lauren explained on Instagram.

Although the decadent dress was covered in over two million mother of pearl sequins, it was Priyanka's 75-foot tulle veil that stole the show.

Ralph Lauren outdid himself with the creation, especially since he isn't officially a wedding dress designer, previously only designing three bridal gowns for his close family (his daughter, his daughter-in-law and his niece).

He, however, made an exception for the Hollywood couple, as he played a role in their romantic story: the couple made their first red carpet appearance together as guests of the designer at the Met Gala in 2017.

And, he definitely had his work cut out, as he also created Jonas's tuxedo, which had a small piece of lace from the bride's dress embroidered with the Urdu words "my jaan", which translates to "my life", stitched into his lapel.

Ralph Lauren also created the ensembles of the bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, flower girls and ring bearers too.
