Beauty Spot: Konnie Huq's bouncy hair

After announcing her engagement to Charlie Brooker, even Konnie Huq's hair appeared a little bouncier.

Oscar Mercaldi, art director at Aldo Coppola London, thinks its new volume and length are down to real-hair extensions. He says: "To recreate this, you need an experienced technician to prepare the hair. The extensions are then bonded on to your hair. They need no special care and last four to six months."

Extensions at Aldo Coppola cost around £800 (020 7052 0709) but Hot Hair in Topshop Oxford Circus has clip-in extensions from £29.50 or £129 for human hair (020 7927 0259).
