The bash: A select few gathered for an evening with Kate Moss at 180 The Strand on Wednesday evening, toasting the supermodel’s new role as creative director of Diet Coke. She took the chance to talk through her four new designs for the cans, which have her portrait sketched by friend Tim Rockins.

The crowd: Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon Boulash got an audience with the British model, and was caught twirling her around and whispering in her ear. There was an expected strong turnout from her friends too, counting DJs Fat Tony and Nicholas Grimshaw.

The looks: Talk of outfits centred on Moss’s own. Her four new Diet Coke designs are based on pieces from her archive, some of which she’d brought to show off at the do. For the occasion, she stuck true to form in a leopard print blouse with black slacks and metallic gold Jimmy Choo stilettos, while designer Harris Reed looked whimsical in a white lace shirt and billowing trousers.

The lowdown: After nailing the whole creative directing thing, Moss seemed keen to continue expanding her CV. She took a spin on the DJ decks, grabbed the mic to sing Diana Ross songs, and even took party photographer Dave Bennett’s camera and started snapping – including one bustling group shot.

The bash: British Vogue joined forces with fashion label Self-Portrait for a sparkling summer party held at Chiltern Firehouse, Marylebone, on Wednesday night.

The crowd: The supermodel strewn affair was headed up by none other than Gigi Hadid, who is the latest face of the brand founded by Malaysian designer Han Chong in 2013. Vogue Editors Edward Enninful and Anna Wintour both attended, alongside young models of the moment Ella Richards and Eva Apio.

The looks: Naturally, it was Hadid who turned heads, shining in a crystal encrusted lime green dress from Self Portrait’s Resort 2023 collection. She paired it with metallic, forest green stilettos and a mini green bag as she joined Ellie Goulding, who opted for a feathered hem jumpsuit, and Georgia May Jagger, who was effortlessly sleek in a black cut out dress, with jewelled straps and pearl brooch clusters.

The lowdown: While the usual fashion set mingled with Vogue writers inside, there was one lesser known face seen slipping in. Phoebe Gates, the 19 year old daughter of Bill Gates, arrived in a silver two piece bralet and mini, with white trainers. Does she have her eyes on London’s social circuit?
