Is there anything better than London in the springtime?

The days last longer, the sun finally makes an appearance and, seemingly overnight, the capital's tree branches burst to life, making the streets look that extra little bit more magical on your walk to work.

From north to south, keen Instagrammers have been capturing some of the most scenic views in their neighbourhoods, as the first sunny springtime days display the capital’s greenery in all of its glory.

There are cherry blossom trees swaying outside tall Georgian townhouses, rows of daffodils in the parks and fragrant roses adding colour to the roadsides.

Green-fingered Londoners don’t have to wait until the Chelsea Flower Show to spot some beautiful botany, simply step outside of your doorstep and you can see all manner of flora and fauna.
