Marks and Spencer Christmas advert 2019: Paddy McGuinness and Emma Willis hit festive market for M&S Food campaign ad

Paddy McGuinness and Emma Willis hit a Christmas market in this year’s addition of Marks & Spencer’s traditional festive advert, which was unveiled today.

The high street giant enlisted the TV presenters – and their taste buds – to front the campaign for its food range, which includes what is described as “The Perfect Turkey”.

Viewers are led through the festive scene of a Christmas market as the pair sample popular seasonal products and a children’s choir plays in the background.

Paddy and Emma mingle with M&S customers in the market before bumping into fellow panel members Amanda Holden and Rochelle Humes.

The launch of the advert comes after the launch of a year-long social media campaign that saw the presenters taste M&S products each month, picking out their favourites.

The ad was unveiled at 7am on Thursday accompanied by eight shorter clips focusing on one particular product in M&S’s festive range.

M&S said it has created over 170 new product lines for its customers in the build up to Christmas.

Its festive clips use food to perfectly depict the spirit of Christmas, from delicious mince pies and prosecco puddings, to succulent turkey.
