I need a colourful coat to ease me out of winter misery

When it comes to colourful coats, I’m a bit of a hypocrite. I want to say neutrals are boring, you should explore colour, blah blah, but every time I attempt anything other than black or navy I engage in a minor coat tussle/dance (mostly tussle) in front of the mirror, and 95 per cent of the time end up back in a neutral pinky hue. So I think ease into it gently, with something like this (bright) green coat — it looks cool with light denim and a white tee, or wear with the matching skirt if you’re feeling extra bold.
