The eyes have it

GREASY

1 Run ILLAMASQUA’s eye pencil over the entire eyelid and along the lower lashline, then use a brush to soften and blend.

2 Using a finger, press a small amount of ELIZABETH ARDEN Eight Hour Cream on the eyelids, creating a sheen over the colour you applied. Finish with a couple of generous coats of LANCÔME mascara.

3 Line and shape lips with LANCÔME lip liner. Apply a coat of LANCÔME lipstick and blot.

4 Layer on another coat and leave it unblotted — after a minute or so the formula will soften on your lips and leave a super-glossy finish.

GRAPHIC

1 Use a foundation brush to smooth Lancôme foundation into cleansed and moisturised skin. Even out any discolouration around the eyes with the corrector in the lid.

2 Blend Maybelline eyeshadow over the entire eyelid up to the brow to create a uniform base shade.

3 Look straight into a mirror and run the Kiko eye pencil along your socket line, extending it out a little at the end for drama. Use an eyeliner brush to blend the line a little and ensure even application.

4 Add Lancôme blusher over the cheekbones and run a little of what remains on your foundation brush over moisturised lips to tone down the colour.

BLUE

1 For extra intensity use a wet brush to press Lancôme’s electric-blue eyeshadow over the eyelid and along the lower lashline. Use the same colour on a dry brush to soften the edges and draw colour up and outwards, elongating the eye into a ‘winged’ shape.

2 To intensify the look, run Topshop’s kohl pencil along the waterline of the eyes before adding plenty of Lancôme mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

3 Keep a freshness to the look by applying a couple of broad strokes of Guerlain bronzer across the top of the forehead and cheekbones.

4 The eyes need to be the focus, so apply Sisley’s lip balm to add sheer moisture to the lips.

GRUNGE

1 To get the ‘lived-in’ look, run Lancôme’s eye pencil liberally along the lower lid, bringing colour into the base of the lashes. Set the pencil by blending the black from Lancôme’s eyeshadow palette into it, extending the colour outwards.

2 Use a brush to blend the mink colour from the same palette broadly over the eyelid and up into the socket, stroking it outwards to meet the black at the outer corner. Finish with a generous application of Lancôme mascara to both sets of lashes.

3 Over the apples of the cheeks sweep Shu Uemura blusher.

4 Use your finger to press a light coat of L’orÉal lipstick into the lips to keep the eyes as the main focus.
