If you’re looking for a countryside break, they don’t come much more idyllic than Devon.

It’s beautiful coast provides 450 miles of sweeping sandy beaches, with excellent surfing, coastal walks and wildlife spotting on offer.

Further inland from the craggy cliffs you’ll find quaint villages and bustling historic market towns for window shopping and sinking a pint in some of the best pubs in the country.

But it’s not all sunbathing and sipping ale. There are also ample stretches of gorgeous rolling countryside for a weekend of rambling and getting lost in nature.

And with spring just around the corner, there’s no better time to start planning an escape from the doom and gloom of a post-Brexit London.
