You can now zip line off the Eiffel Tower

The iconic Parisian attraction has been transformed into an adrenaline-packed ride
Disha Daswaney7 June 2017

Paris is a magical city with divine restaurants, stunning architecture and a high fashion vibe. But how about seeing the city from a whole new perspective?

A 800m zip wire has been installed from the Eiffel Tower, giving its riders a spectacular view over the city.

The adrenaline-pumped ride starts from 115 metres above ground on the second floor of the iconic attraction, before landing on a platform in the Champs de Mars Park.

The dizzying ride takes around a minute to complete and propels thrillseekers at 90km/h across the park - roughly the speed of a tennis ball being smashed through the air.

Not feeling brave enough? There's a virtual reality version you can try out.

The installation is a partnership with Perrier to launch the French Open tennis tournament and will be in place until June 11.

Remember to book quickly as there are only 100 rides available each day.
