According to reports by Travel + Leisure, Harry and Meghan are set to jet out to Namibia following their nuptials on May 19 and it seems like the perfect choice.

It’s well known that Harry has long had a love affair with Africa and the couple actually went to Botswana for their second date (as you do).

Not only is Namibia one of the least densely populated countries in the world, meaning they’ll have privacy and respite from the paps, it’s also stunningly beautiful with opportunity to experience adventure as well as luxury.

The perfect recipe for a successful honeymoon, right?

It’s not yet known where the couple have chosen to stay and what their itinerary will entail. If we were to hazard a guess, though, it’s likely they’ll spend a good amount of time in the desert. The Namib Desert stretches over 2000 kilometres and is thought to have been around for some 55 million years. Today it has a range of luxury hotels and ranches available for the super wealthy looking for a one-of-a-kind escape.

The southwestern country is also home to one of the biggest cheetah population as well as black rhinos, springbok, zebra, giraffe and desert elephants so no doubt they’ll take a trip in a landcruiser or bush plane to spot them.

So far, we can’t tell you anything else but stay tuned - this is definitely a honeymoon itinerary you’ll want to see.
