Finding a family-focused hotel that exudes style and luxury is no easy task.

That’s why five-star Sani Resort in Halkidiki is considered a parents' retreat, allowing you to create your own custom holiday with family and luxury at its core.

The Grecian getaway is made up of five boutique hotels, each of which has its own personality and speciality - from the family-friendly Sani Beach to one of the private 57 suits in Sani Asteria.

Sprinkled around the idyllic surroundings sit 24 restaurants, 21 bars and cafes, a shopping centre and endless activities. It’s like a small city -one that you will never want to leave.

Where is it?

A short 45-minute drive from Thessaloniki airport is the breathtaking thousand-acre landscape of Sani Resort.

Surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, golden sands and a vibrant Marina - the idyllic backdrop is just an indictor of what is to come.

Style

There is luxury in every area of the hotel.

From the modern, stylish décor that differs from each hotel, to the vast amount of space and Michelin-star restaurants.

On our stay, the hotel was at full capacity; yet there was no bun fight for a sun lounger, wait for a table or constant crying of kids. Instead, there was simply space, style and serenity.

Facilities

The resort has everything you could ever need for a fun-filled day out with the kids. From a range of water sports including water-skiing, scuba diving, paddle boarding and sailing, to a game of tennis or bike ride around the beautiful grounds.

That said, many are attracted to Sani because of its excellent childcare. The Peppa Pig crèche, mini club and teenagers club are all operated by UK childcare specialists, Worldwide Kids, whose Ofsted standards are bound to give you peace of mind whilst you enjoy a little TLC.

Or, need a little beach break? “Babewatch” is a baby-sitting service available on every single beach on Sani that gives parents a 30-minute complimentary rest.

Relaxing couldn't be easier, too, what with a spa in every hotel, adult-only areas, yoga lessons, a wellness programme, evening entertainment and sunset cruises. It’s easy to get some much-needed alone time.

Food & drink

Forget about having the same boring buffet each night, Sani offers a unique dining experience.

24 multi-awarded restaurants are dotted all over the resort, each with a distinct theme from around the world. So, whether you’re after a Michelin-star experience at Katsu Restaurant or a more casual tavern at Alexis Taverna, you can enjoy a different culinary feast every evening whilst watching the same sublime sunset.

Highlighting the resort's passion for food, each year they also hold Sani Gourmet Festival, a foodie's dream which sees one-of-a-kind dining experiences created by Michelin star chefs from around the world.

Which room?

Having just received a multi-million Euro refurbishment, Sani Club is currently one of the most premium properties on the Sani resort.

Offering privacy and elegance, the accommodation provides one and two bedroom family suites, or junior suites with a private garden or secluded outdoor pool, making it the perfect place for families who want their own space.

The resort has an ‘open to everyone’ policy, meaning you can experience each and every hotel, which gives the entire resort a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Sani Resort

Extra-curricular

As well as all the family-friendly activities, there are also several unique experiences up for grabs.

Beekeeping, bird watching and forest walks are available for those who want to explore the nature within the hotel, or a variety of yacht cruises are available for those who want to go further offshore.

For football fans, the resort has recently announced a partnership with Chelsea FC Foundation offering budding premier league players aged 4-16 a chance to train with qualified coaches on a UEFA approved pitch.

And for those wanting to take in the local culture, a short 16km away is the local village, Afytos where local delicacies and shops are accompanied by stunning cliff top views.
