British actress Lily Collins cements her place among Hollywood royalty as she joins Scarlett Johansson and Dakota Fanning in a new photo shoot.

She posed in a Miu Miu creation for the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The picture, published in the UK for the first time by the Standard, is one of several taken by fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld as part of a feature to celebrate female diversity.

Collins, the daughter of singer Phil, will see her latest film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones hit cinema screens this month.

It is the third shoot by the magazine’s global fashion director Carine Roitfeld to appear in the UK edition. Inspired by a diverse range of models, it aims to champion women of all ages, shapes, sizes and nationalities.

Roitfeld, the former editor-in-chief of French Vogue, conceptualised, cast and styled the feature — which will run in all 29 editions of the magazine — in collaboration with Stephen Gan, creative director at Harper’s Bazaar US.

Johansson is pictured in a gold leather pinafore by Prada, while former child star Dakota Fanning is clad in a Louis Vuitton gown.

The full interview appears in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, on sale now.

The A-list line-up also includes British models Liberty Ross, Lily Donaldson and Karen Elson and musicians Grimes and Angel Haze. Together they showcase key looks from the autumn/winter 2013 collections.

The magazine’s UK editor-in-chief Justine Picardie said: “Harper’s Bazaar stands for a thoughtful and intelligent approach to fashion whilst also celebrating the diversity and strength of women. Carine’s verve and spirited take on fashion reflects the great tradition of Harper’s Bazaar.”

The full interview appears in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, on sale now. It is also available as a digital edition. For more information, visit harpersbazaar.co.uk/fashion/inside/carine-roitfeld-exclusive or harpersbazaar.co.uk
