Healer who cured Michael Flatley of mystery virus arrives in London to spread powers
A healer who helped put the spring back in Lord of the Dance star Michael Flatley’s step today revealed the secrets of his magic touch.
The Irish dancer was struck with a mystery virus, causing acute lethargy and joint and muscular pain, which plagued him for three years. But when he enlisted the help of healer Michael O’Doherty he made a full recovery.
Mr O’Doherty is in London this week promoting his “bio-energy” treatment, which involves “re-balancing the body’s energy”.
He told the Standard: “There are energy channels in the body and if they get blocked off it affects blood flowing around the body. I have developed techniques to free up the energy and get it flowing.”
Mr O’Doherty, 48, who lives in County Claire, Ireland, said more and more Londoners were exploring bio-energy treatments.
“Medicine can no longer provide what is necessary because the problems of our society are so complex. People can take pills but we need to get to the cause of the problem. There is a greater awareness out there for the need for people to look beyond medicine to us,” he said.
