N-Dubz rapper Fazer has filed for bankruptcy, according to court documents.

The recording artist, who has had limited success as a solo performer after the Camden trio announced they had 'split' in 2011, requested the action on December 4 under his real name Richard Rawson.

Using an address in New Southgate, North London, 26-year-old Rawson was listed as "currently bankrupt".

The father-of-one is yet to comment on his financial situation, but writing on Twitter yesterday he hinted it had been misreported in the press.

He said: "I had to laugh at what I'm hearing today!! #Really no really I had to laugh #GetTheFacts."

He later posted a picture on Instagram of him sitting at a piano with the caption: "Ray Charles in the house! #ICantSeeYou".

Fazer's ex-bandmate and former girlfriend Tulisa Contostavlos, who has said N-Dubz could reform in 2014, is appearing in court today on drugs charges.

The former X Factor judge, 25, is accused of setting up a cocaine deal for an undercover reporter.

She denies the charges.

Meanwhile third bandmate and Tulisa's cousin Dino "Dappy" Contostavlos has reportedly been offered £100,000 to appear in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.
