A balding man is being sought by police over the theft of "high value" hair growth products.

Dorset Police issued a CCTV image of a man with thinning grey hair after the theft at a Holland and Barrett store in Bridport.

The incident happened between 12pm and 1pm on April 4 at the health food shop on East Street, according to detectives.

The suspect entered the store and took a large amount of hair growth products from the shelf. He made no attempt to pay for them before leaving.

Pc Brian Puttock, who is investigating, said: "I am releasing a CCTV image of the suspect in hope that someone will recognise him.

"Anyone who may be able to identify the individual or has more information about the theft should contact me on 101."
