And a sixth man, 26, has now been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent after voluntarily attending a police station.

He remained in custody on Monday night for questioning.

A number of people were injured when a car was driven at them “during an altercation” in Lombard Road, police said.

Officers were called at about 11.15pm to reports of a fight breaking out.

A man in his 20s suffered a broken leg and another suffered a head injury. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Several other people were treated for minor injuries, Scotland Yard said.

The five men arrested at the scene on Saturday have since been released on bail.

Scotland Yard said it was continuing inquiries to find the driver of the car who fled the scene.

The group were driven at after they left a nearby hotel, police said.
