Police are searching for a man following an unprovoked assault in Camden.

At approximately 2:10am on July 27, a 40-year-old man was attacked with a broken glass bottle on New Oxford Street as he and a friend waited for a bus.

Although he was left with a series of cuts to his head, the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.

The attacker is not thought to have known the victim and has yet to be identified.

Approaching three months after the attack, the police have a released an image of a man they wish to speak to following the assault.

Anyone who can name the man in the image should call police on 101 or post on ‘X’ @MetCC quoting reference CAD 498/27Jul.
