A teenage boy has been stabbed outside a pub in east London.

The 15-year-old was knifed in the street close to the Royal Star at the junction of City Road and Mora Street.

Police were called at about 3.45pm and taped off the pavement outside the pub.

The boy was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be serious.

A Met Police spokesman said: "Officers from Islington CID are investigating.

"There has been no arrest at this early stage."
