A 48-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a flat in west London.

Police were called to reports of an unresponsive woman at a residential property in Ealing at 3.45pm on Monday.

A woman, also aged 48, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Formal identification is yet to take place, but the Metropolitan Police believe the victim is Anna Ousyannikov.

Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Detectives have charged Curtis Brown, 48, of Castlebar Road, with murder.

He is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court today.
