Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a sexual assault in Bow, east London.

The 18-year-old victim was waiting at a bus stop on Bromley High Street around 1.20pm on Sunday, May 2 when she was approached by a man who grabbed her and then tried to kiss her. She was able to push the man away, and he left on foot.

The victim then reported the matter to police.

Police say they have carried out a number of enquiries to identify the suspect and on Wednesday released a CCTV image of a man they need to speak with.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who witnessed the assault, is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 4285/29May.
