A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in east London.
Officers arrested the 17-year-old on suspicion of collecting material that is likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism around 7am on Tuesday.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of indecent photographs of a child and possession of extreme pornographic images.
The teenager has been taken into custody at a central London police station.
The investigation relates to Islamist extremism, police said.
