The estranged wife of paralysed ex-stunt rider Eddie Kidd appeared in court today accused of assaulting him six times in four months.

Samantha Kidd, 44 — who wore a black coat with lace and leather panels, black boots and spotted tights at Brighton magistrates’ court — denied each charge.

She was granted bail on condition she does not contact Mr Kidd, 53, who was crippled by a motorbike accident 16 years ago. Her trial will start at the same court on July 9.
