A Ferrari driver was arrested after he was caught speeding at 150mph along the M25.

The man was seen racing along the motorway in his sports car between Reigate and Wisley, Surrey, at 10pm last night.

He was chased by two police cars as he travelled at almost twice the speed limit, until he was eventually arrested between junction 10 and 11 in Chertsey.

A spokeswoman for Surrey Police said a 25-year-old man from London had been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and had been bailed until May 19.

She said: “Officers from Surrey Police seized a Ferrari California at around 10pm on March 12 after it was seen speeding on the M25 between junction eight and 10.”

Ferraris have the capability of reaching 0-62mph in under four seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 193mph.
