A fifth teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man during a burglary in south-west London.

Martin Thomas, 39, was found by police suffering with stab wounds when they attended the address in Huntingfield Road, Roehampton, on April 22. A post-mortem examination revealed he died of a stab wound which punctured his lung.

The 20-year-old suspect was arrested by police and taken to a south London police station for questioning today.

Two teenage boys have already been charged with Mr Thomas’ murder.

A 13-year-old boy, understood to be one of the youngest people in British criminal history to be charged with murder, was charged at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on May 5. He has been remanded in custody.

Another teenager, aged 15-years-old, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on April 26 accused of the murder.

Both have been remanded to appear at the Old Bailey at a later date.
