A man has been charged over the murder of a barmaid who was found dead in Finsbury Park.
Iuliana Tudos, 22, was found stabbed and with a head injury in the park on Wednesday afternoon, three days after she had last been seen.
Kasim Lewis, 31, was charged with her murder on Tuesday, police confirmed.
Iuliana, who was also known as Julia or Lili, had been missing since Christmas Eve when she had caught a bus back from her work in Camden to her home in Upper Tollington Park.
She had been due to meet with friends in Enfield on Christmas Day but never arrived, prompting a police appeal for information on her whereabouts.
Lewis, of Friern Barnet, will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on January 3.
Friends of Ms Tudos paid tribute to the “kind and life-loving” music fan.
"She was so young and friendly, she could make friends with anyone she met very easily,” said Senya Taylor, a friend of three years.
“If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have met the love of my life too, which I'm forever grateful for."
Eleni Sakka wrote on Facebook alongside a photograph of her with Ms Tudos: "Dear best friend, thank you for being amazing.”
Social media has also helped spread an online fundraising drive to pay for Ms Tudos's funeral, which reached its £4,000 target within 11 hours.
