A teenager has been stabbed in the face during a fight on a north London street.

The 14-year-old was found with a "puncture wound" after violence broke out in Hainault yesterday.

Police officers and paramedics were called to Manford Road at around 3.40pm after people reported a fight had started.

A spokesman for the Met Police said: "A 14-year-old boy was taken to an east London hospital suffering from a puncture wound to his face.

"He has since been discharged."

No one has been arrested in the investigation so far.
