Hayes stabbing: Man fighting for life after being knifed in west London

A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in west London.

Police were called at 3.34am today to reports of an incident in Station Road, Hayes.

Officers and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended and found a man, no other details, suffering from knife injuries.

A Met Police spokeswoman said the victim was taken to a west London hospital "where his injuries were deemed life-threatening".

"We await further updates," she said.

"A crime scene remains in place and no arrests have been made."

Officers are investigating and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
