A 43-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death at a home in north London.

Natasha Welsh is accused of stabbing Martin Welsh, 47, to death at an address Greyound Hill, Hendon, at around 11.40pm on Friday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Scotland Yard previously said those arrested in connection to the incident and the deceased were known to each other.

Welsh will appear in Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Two other people aged in their 20s were arrested at the scene but the Met confirmed Saturday it had released the 21-year-old man and 23-year-old woman.

Following Friday night, a police presence remained in the area throughout Saturday.

The Metropolitan Police said nobody else was injured during the incident.
