Holloway Road has been closed off in both directions after reports of a man was stabbed in broad daylight.
The busy north London road has been cordoned off by police, who confirmed to the Standard that a teenager has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Pictures of the scene show a police van and several officers guarding the cordon and eyewitnesses reported seeing one man who was stabbed twice in the side and the back before being rushed to hospital.
A Met police spokeswoman said a man, aged in his 20s, had been taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 19-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
Police remain at the scene and the road has been closed since shortly before 5pm.
The Met spokeswoman said: Police were called on Wednesday June 7 June at 4.16pm to a report of a stabbing in Holloway Road, N7.
"Officers attended and found a man, believed be in his 20s suffering from a stab injury
"The man was taken to a north London hospital. His injuries are not being treated as life threatening
"A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and is currently in custody at a north London police station.
"Officers remain on scene and enquiries are ongoing."
