The British banker charged with murdering two prostitutes in Hong Kong posed for grisly “selfies” with one of the bodies, it was claimed today.

Officers investigating the murders found gruesome pictures on the phone of Rurik Jutting which allegedly show the accused killer posing with a corpse.

The images are said to show the 29-year-old with the body of victim Sumarti Ningsih, whose decomposing body was found stuffed in a suitcase on Jutting’s balcony.

The images are claimed to be among 2,000 photographs and videos of the two women found on the former public schoolboy’s mobile phone, many of which show him having sex.

Details, apparently revealed by a police source to Hong Kong’s Apple Daily newspaper, come as it emerged Jutting’s trading permit was revoked by the Securities & Futures Commission watchdog in Hong Kong -over suspicious he may have been a rogue trader - on the day he is said to have killed the first of his alleged victims.

Jutting, who was remanded in custody after being charged with two murders on Monday, was said to be “frank and honest” with his legal team that the prostitutes died in his flat.

The collapse of his high-flying banking career is one theory being investigated by police as a potential trigger for his alleged killing spree.

Jutting, who had the nickname “killer” at school, also reportedly insisted he had no mental health problems, declaring: “I am not mad”.

A source said: “Jutting was frank and honest that the girls died in his flat, and that nobody else was there. But he is adamant he is not mad.”

He blamed it simply on “incidents involving him and girls”, without elaborating.

Today police in the Philippines also revealed a young woman had been reported missing in a notorious prostitute hotspot where the banker spent his holidays.

The woman, aged in her 20s, vanished in the red-light district of Angeles City - dubbed the “Sin City” of the Philippines.

Jutting is understood to have visited the vice capital several times over the last 18 months, with pictures emerging of the Cambridge graduate surrounded by girls at hotels and clubs in the city.

The former public schoolboy quit his highly-paid job at investment bank Merrill Lynch days before being arrested on Saturday, with the out-of-office reply on his email system reading: “Please contact someone who is not an insane psychopath.”

Indonesian escort Sumarti Ningsih, 25, was found “nearly decapitated” and tied up in a suitcase, while Seneng Mujiasih, who had adopted the name Jesse Lorena Ruri, 29, was found dying with her throat slashed and stab wounds to her buttocks.

Miss Ningsih is believed to have been in the flat for five days, since the day when Jutting updated his Facebook status with a rambling comment about embarking on “a new journey”.

Eyewitnesses said Jutting was seen allegedly grasping the throat of Ms Ruri in the street just hours before her death.

One friend told The Times he and the two dead women were in a “love triangle’.

Meanwhile a former classmate from £34,000-a-year Winchester College said there was a running joke that Jutting was gay, and that he was often made fun of.

A former Hong Kong law enforcement officer who drank in the same bars as Jutting today claimed today that the banker was like a “zombie” after his regular weekend drug binges.

Meanwhile his ex-girlfriend Sonya Dyer, a glamour model also known as “Sonya Milkshake”, was said to be refusing to speak to anyone about her four-year relationship with the suspected killer.

A friend told the Standard: “She is just not speaking about it. She doesn’t want to talk to anyone. It’s too upsetting for her.”
