Police have discovered a huge cannabis factory concealed within a flat in Beckenham.

Bromley Police seized about 400 cannabis plants from the flat, located above a commercial premises in Beckenham High Road at 8.30am on Friday morning.

Four rooms in the first floor flat had been converted to grow cannabis, alongside equipment used in the cultivation of the drug.

No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.

Meanwhile a recent investigation by Sky News found London drug dealers were selling cannabis to primary school children.

The leader of a drugs gang operating in south London told the news channel he employs more than 30 people to run three factories supplying drugs in the capital.
