Murder detectives have arrested five youths over the machete killing of a teenager in a children's playground, after swooping on an address in north London this morning.
Stefan Appleton, 18, was stabbed to death in front of horrified witnesses in Nightingale Park, Islington, shortly after 6pm on Wednesday.
Officers raided an address in Holloway in the early hours today and detained four 16-year-old boys.
One was arrested on suspicion of murder and the others were held on suspicion of robbery and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Another 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, Scotland Yard announced today.
All five suspects remain in custody.
Police say Stefan was in Nightingale Park with friends when two youths pulled up on a moped on Wednesday.
The pillion passenger attacked Stefan, stabbing him a number of times with a large-bladed knife before making off on the moped along Nightingale Road, according to officers.
Stefan was rushed to hospital where he died at about 7.45pm. Police said a post-mortem gave the cause of death as "shock and haemorrhage, and a stab wound to the chest".
Detectives said they have now tracked down the moped involved in the attack, after previously appealing to the public for help finding it.
