Police have arrested another person in connection with the murder of teenager Jodie Chesney.

A 17-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of murder. He was taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody.

Three men, 20, 18, and 16, have already been charged with murder.

Three others, a 50-year-old man; a 38-year-old woman and a 17-year-old were arrested on March 10 on suspicion of assisting an offender and have been released under investigation.

Scout Jodie, 17, died when she was knifed in the back near a children's play area in Harold Hill, East London on March 1.
