A murder inquiry has been launched after a 15-year-old boy was found stabbed outside a school in north-west London.
Police were called to Doyle Gardens in Kensal Rise at around 3.30pm on Monday after reports a youth was stabbed.
The boy was found lying in the road with stab wounds near the Capital City Academy and was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
His next of kin have been informed.
Police said they believe they know who the victim is they await to formally identify him.
Detectives from Scotland Yard's homicide and major crime command confirmed they are investigating.
One man claimed his brother saw the boy being chased from a bus stop opposite Roundwood Park before he was attacked.
Elsewhere, a young man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was repeatedly stabbed following an attack in Homerton, east London.
Police said the victim, who is in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries after he was found knifed in Harrowgate Road.
Detectives said they believe the man was chased by a “number of individuals” before they fled the scene shortly after the attack at around 6pm on Monday.
Scotland Yard said the man suffered multiple stab wounds. Police have issued an appeal for witnesses.
