Lambeth stabbing: Young man, 23, knifed to death in south London

A young man has died after a stabbing in south London this evening.

Officers scrambled to Minet Road, Brixton shortly before 7pm on Thursday.

Police treated the 23-year-old victim who died at the scene, Scotland Yard said.

There have been no arrests, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police.

Lambeth Police tweeted: "We are at the scene of a fatal stabbing at 6.45pm in Minet Road, Lambeth, SW9.

"Officers gave first aid to the 23-yr-old victim, who sadly died at the scene."

Witnesses or anyone with information was asked to call 101 reference 6141/21Feb.
