Police probe after man, 20, stabbed to death in West Norwood

Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed to death in West Norwood on Saturday evening.

Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in a shop on Norwood Road just before 6pm.

The man, 20, was found with knife injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are working to inform his next of kin.

No arrests have been made.

A crime scene is in place and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

A Section 60 Order granting police additional stop and search powers has been authorised for the area from 7pm until 7am on Sunday.
