Police hunt serial flasher after multiple lone women targeted in Harrow and Wembley areas

Police are hunting a serial flasher after a number of lone women were targeted in a string of indecent exposure incidents on buses in north-west London.

A man reportedly flashed four women on separate occasions across a 15-month period, with the latest two incidents happening on consecutive days in May.

All of the incidents happened on buses in the Harrow and Wembley areas, and on each occasion the man targeted women travelling on their own.

The first came on February 8 last year, followed by a second six months later, on August 7. The most recent two occurred more than nine months after that, on May 16 and 17.

Police are investigating the spate, but have not made any arrests.

On Wednesday, Scotland Yard issued two images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents.

DS Matthew Brown from the Roads and Transport Policing Command said: “I am asking anyone who recognises the man in this image to come forward and speak to police.

“Exposure is treated as a serious offence and no one should be made to feel uncomfortable when using public transport.

“If you know this man, or have any information which could assist this investigation, please get in contact immediately.”
