Murder arrest as woman, in her 20s, found dead at home on Boxing Day in Forest Gate

A murder probe has been launched after a woman in her 20s was found dead at her home in Forest Gate, east London.

Police were called to Earlham Grove in Newham after concerns were raised for the welfare of a resident at midday on Sunday.

A body of a woman, believed aged in her 20s, was found at the property by officers.

Detectives are trying to work out the woman’s identity and inform her family of her death.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene by officers on suspicion of murder.
