A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 64-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times at a care worker centre in south London.
Police found the woman suffering from stab wounds in offices above the Croydon Carers’ Support Centre, George Street, at 6.30pm.
She was taken to a south London hospital for treatment. Police said her injuries are not life-threatening.
Unemployed Derrion Davidson, 30, of Purley, has been charged with attempted murder.
He also faces charges relating to theft and possession of a bladed or pointed article in a public place.
Davidson was remanded in custody and appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court this morning. He will next appear in custody at the same court on September 23.
