A man is fighting for his life in hospital this morning after being stabbed in the neck in north London.
The 28-year-old victim is in critical condition after he was attacked in Watling Avenue, Edgware shortly after 1.30am.
A picture from the scene showed a police cordon outside a minicab office and fast food shop close to Burnt Oak tube station.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We were called at 1.35am to Watling Avenue, Edgware. A man aged 28 was found suffering from a stab wound to the neck. He has gone to hospital in a critical condition."
Part of nearby Orange Hill Road was closed while police investigated but has since been reopened.
No arrests have been made.
