A drug dealer who was found with heroin stashed in his pants after a traffic stop has been jailed.

Bilal Hussain, 25, was pulled over on suspicion of driving while disqualified on February 26 in Waltham Forest, north-east London.

Officers searched him and found heroin in his underwear after he was arrested and taken to a police station.

Police then raided his home in Livingstone Road, Walthamstow, and found more heroin and cannabis.

He was convicted of possession of heroin with intent to supply at Snaresbrook Crown Court and jailed for four years and six months.

He was sentenced to a further five months for driving while disqualified and banned from getting behind the wheel for five years.

Detective Constable Thomas Johnson, from Waltham Forest’s Gangs Task Force, said: "This is a great result for the community of Waltham Forest and I am pleased that a drug dealer has been taken off the streets.”
