A man who wrecked nine high-end BMWs and caused £16,000 of damage in an overnight rampage in Park Lane has been jailed.
Nyah Bishop, 21, was locked up for six weeks after he went on a path of destruction in an underground car park on the sought-after stretch in central London.
Bishop smashed windows, dented doors and yanked off wing mirrors in the bizarre spree, which happened sometime between 7pm on Wednesday, September 7, and 8am on Thursday, September 8.
He also removed the cigarette lighter from one car and shoved it in the diesel tank.
In total Bishop damaged the cars to the tune of £15,949.
Police found forensic evidence linking to Bishop on several of the cars and he was arrested on October 12 and later charged with criminal damage.
Bishop, of no fixed abode, was convicted at City of London Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
PC Emma Dobson, the investigating officer from Westminster borough, said: "I am delighted that Bishop has been convicted and sentenced for this mindless act.
“He has failed to admit the truth throughout and he has shown no remorse for the damage he has caused.
"I hope his time behind bars gives him an opportunity to reflect upon his actions."
