Fresh allegations against disgraced publicist Max Clifford have been passed to the Crown Prosecution Service.

The sex offender is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence for eight counts of indecent assault of four girls aged 14 to 19.

And he was re-arrested and taken from prison to be interviewed at a police station in Peterborough in March.

A CPS spokesman said today: "The CPS has received a full file of evidence following the arrest of a 72-year-old man in Peterborough on 12 March in relation to Operation Yewtree. A decision will be made in due course."

Clifford, 72, was jailed in May last year for a string of indecent assaults on four women between 1977 and 1984.

He is currently serving time at HM Prison Littlehey, Cambridgeshire.
