Met officer charged with rape in Buckinghamshire after Thames Valley police investigation

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with rape after an alleged incident in Buckinghamshire.

PC Callum Utley, attached to the West Area Command Unit covering Ealing, Hounslow and Hillingdon, is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on May 25.

He was charged by Thames Valley Police via postal requisition on Friday, 12 May.

The allegation relates to an alleged off duty incident in Buckinghamshire in 2019.

The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed.

PC Utley is suspended from duty, the Met said in a statement.
