A 12-year-old girl who went missing overnight has been found safe and well in south London

Jasmine Coleman disappeared from her home in Lancing, West Sussex, during the early hours of this morning.

Police reported it was feared she ran away with an older man and issued public appeals for help to find her.

Officers from Sussex Police and the Met began urgently searching for her after she was reported missing at around 2am.

She was last seen in her bedroom, possibly talking to someone on FaceTime at about 11.30pm.

It is believed she was found around 4pm.

People living in New Addington and Fieldway reported seeing police making door-to-door enquiries in the neighbourhoods.
