Two puppies have been stolen from a car parked outside a supermarket in west London.

Police are appealing for help tracing the two six-month-old Chihuahuas, Max and Lily.

The adorable pair have not been seen since going missing from the front seat of the vehicle in a Tesco car park last Friday.

Their owner had stopped off at the shop, in Chantry Close, West Drayton at around 10.50pm.

Returning to the car he found that the front passenger window had been smashed and the puppies had been snatched.

Anyone with information about the pair's whereabouts is urged to call police on 020 3276 1265.
